negotiation

my parents spoiled me
so I’m used to getting my way

on my best days
my arrogance is confidence
and my ego knows her place

I have a pure heart
and sometimes a poker face
I love recklessly
giving all or nothing
without fear of walking away

I’ve learned to live by faith
to take the first step
without seeing the staircase
and all of this, is simply to say:
